Au Bazar des NAC is an association dedicated to protecting small companion animals, including rodents and rabbits. It aims to inform the public about different species and their needs, as well as taking in and rescuing abandoned animals. Its practical rescue work began in 2005. At the time of this article, the team’s efforts were helping dozens of animals each year.
The association developed many ways to support this work: pet boarding, transport arrangements for adoptions, foster homes, a magazine and a website sharing news and information about the species it helps. Animals were regularly offered for adoption, including degus living with foster carers.
Degus available for adoption through the association
How to adopt
To adopt a degu, first read the association’s adoption conditions, then complete the application form. If you meet the conditions, the association will contact you to arrange the adoption. Remember that adopting one rodent can help save several lives: every space freed in a shelter or foster home allows another animal to be taken in. 😉
Helping Au Bazar des NAC
Even if adopting is not possible, there are other ways to help. You can become a foster carer, sponsor an animal, donate, offer pet boarding and more. See the ways to help.
